Choir leader in a kayak
Alongside singing and leading choirs, I love to kayak and spend time on the river and to reflect each Friday as my working week draws to a close. Episodes are uploaded on a weekly basis and if you subscribe to my channel then you’ll automatically receive the videos to watch.
I do hope you enjoy watching me in my element. Sometimes funny, always messy, invariably spontaneous and definitely created, made and sent with love. The first episode can be found by scrolling to the bottom of this page. You don’t need to watch them in order but it’s rather lovely to see them in chronological order to get a feel for the change of season, change of mood and change of attire!

Happy St David’s Day from the half Welsh Choir leader. Famous Welsh hymn writer William Williams wrote the Welsh hymn ‘Arglwydd, arwain trwy’r anialwch’ (Lord, lead me through the wilderness), in around 1762. Less than 10 years later it was translated into English by Peter Williams and became known as ‘Guide me, o thou great redeemer’. In 1983 my secondary school music teacher, Chris OHara wrote this fantastic arrangement which I sang with my school choir aged 17. 30 years later I teach it my own community choir. This video, taken in 2013 (or thereabouts) features so many singers & musicians who we’ve made music with and some who still sing with us every week. We miss & love them all. Happy St David’s day.EP Abscission A Story Board
